A place of infinite possibilities, small details and contrast, the Valley of Cuatrocienegas is ranked among the world's most unique ecosystems, surrounded by sand dunes and mountains that rise up to 3,000 meters. It is located in the banks of the Sierra Madre Oriental in Coahuila, Mexico, a desert region with very arid weather. In 1994 most of the valley was declared a Natural Protected Area by the federal government, because of the uniqueness and fragility of its ecosystems.

Cuatrocienegas is a collection of images showing the diversity of terrain, textures and colors, in different situations and seasons in the valley. They are united by the horizon along the same line from one image to another. Thus, viewed in a continuous line, the images suggest an unfolded vision of the valley.
